アルイエン・アンソニー・ルカッセンのロック・オペラの第１作目です。このアルバムは母国オランダでは大ヒットしたらしいですね。それも当然です。本当に感動的なアルバムですから。ロック・オペラというものに抵抗がある人でもすんなり聴けるんではないでしょうか。今聴くとコンピュータの如何にもって感じのサンプリング音とか部分的に若干陳腐な感じは否めないんですが、とにかく曲が良いのであまり気になりません。特に２曲目の泣きのギターソロは是非聴いて頂きたいです。
