Diamond Rough

Autopilot is a three-piece indie alternative rock band from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. With Marlon Harder on guitar and vocals, Jose A. Fuenzalida on drums and Colton Fehr on bass, their sophomore album, Diamond Rough, features a 90s alternative undercurrent punctuated by captivating pop hooks, while the lyrics share stories of the road, of loss and of a particular extended hospital stay. Unafraid to experiment with sound, they craft solid songs complemented by effects and out of the ordinary touches like a bow used on a guitar. Diamond Rough was produced, recorded and mixed by S.J. Kardash at Full Color Music & Recording and The Avenue Recording Company in Saskatoon and mastered by John Golden at Golden Mastering in Ventura, California. Recalling various power-pop trio influences, Autopilot have developed their own unique sound within Saskatoon that defies being pinned down to one genre. -Chris Morin, Ominocity.
