レーラ・アウエルバッハ待望の作品集。ロシア出身ながらニューヨーク在住の彼女は、2001年9月11日の同時多発テロを間近で体験、その義憤をソナタ第２番に込めました。2002年2月に諏訪内晶子とボリス・ベレゾフスキーが大阪で世界初演を予定しながら中止した因縁作、ようやくの日本登場となります。今年が生誕百年ショスタコーヴィチの機知にあふれる「ジャズ組曲」は演奏者の実父による編曲。67'16"(King International)
