Capolines

Aton's is certainly one of the oldest active Italian groups, given that it was created in 1977 ! Twenty-five years and numerous albums later (H was recorded in 1985, followed by A.L. 1984 and Caccia Grossa in 1989, Doctor Faust was issued in 1993 and Klein E Wagner in 1995), the musicians decided to stop. Their musical will was then issued Capolinea. It was recorded between 1997 and 2000 by their last line-up: Pietro RATTO (Keyboards, guitar & vocals), Vito FRALLONARDO (Bass) and the young prodigy Riccardo LOMBARDO (Drums), who has already won numerous prizes. Throughout the years, Aton's could create a truly personal music, a synthesis of British prog and neo Progressive with Italian pop. The tracks are concise and energetic, with an aggressive guitar, some keyboards that create the structure of the tracks, some good vocals and an excellent rhythm section.
