Formed as The Max Affaire in 2006 by guitarist Seb Lapierre, bassist Dan Saval and lead singer Ugo Solinas, the band became Atomic Sunday in 2011 when Jon Lightman and John Keenoy joined as guitarist and drummer. On the new record, the band is supported by Brenda Vongova on backing vocals.
