Well It's True

It has been said the taste of April Fool's Day for building cared melodies with intense instrumental atmospheres, walking to a pop sound with psychedelic touches. Some of their influences are the early beginnings of Teenage Fanclub or Yo la Tengo, passing through the greats My Bloody Valantine, Pavement or Flaming Lips, or from the well-known Broken Social Scene, Sigur Rs, Wilco or The Notwist. With one album ('9th' / JunkRecords / 2007), several EPs ('Doubts' / 2002-05, 'eight dots towards the ninth red one' / 2006) and several awards (finalists of 'ProyectoDemo2005' - FIB, Radio3), being finalists of the 'Contempopranea06', winners of CityMuac (2003) and receiving the award 'Best Demo Pop-Eye 2006' given by Bonvivant Records), April Fool's Day have been in the well-known international festivals 'Primavera Sound', 'Wintercase' and 'Let's Festival', also recording a live show on Los Conciertos de Radio3 and TVE o be the V.S.O. of the film '8citas' (Peris Romano, Rodrigo Sorogoyen, 2008) and be part of a Lemonheads tribute in the US (Drug Buddies: A tribute to the Lemonheads Double D Records, Nashville, 2008).
