石野理子(Vo)、すりぃ(Gt)、やまもとひかる(Ba)、ツミキ(Dr) という、メンバーそれぞれが確固たる実績を持つ4人によるロックバンド・Aooo。2023年9月、渋谷eggmanにて初ライブ後、さまざまな対バンイベントに出演、ライブ会場のみで販売されているデモCD『Demooo』にも毎回長蛇の列ができるなどライブハウス中心に盛り上がりを加速させ、YouTubeに公開した初のスタジオライブ映像『Live at Studiooo #1』が大きな反響を呼び、音源の配信やワンマンライブの開催が待ち望まれていた。初ライブから1周年となる昨年9月16日、自身初のワンマンライブ『OneOneOne』を渋谷eggmanにて開催し、キャパシティの4倍近くの応募が殺到。そして10月16日にソニーミュージック内に新設され、YOASOBI、MAISONdesらが所属する新レーベル・Echoesより1stアルバム『Aooo』を発売。さらに12月には自身初となるライブツアー『Aooo 1st Live Tour“BOWWOW”』を開催。1st EPとなる本作は計4曲収録。
