Bert Janschの元恋人（余計なお世話）でBritish folkシーンに影響力のあったとされる歌姫Ann Briggs。シングルジャケ、帯（！ただしこのシリーズ共通）付、DL券無し、レーベルはTopicで、CBSのTime has come’71からは一曲も入って無いのでベストとは呼べない。A面は’60年代録音、無伴奏。Iron Muse（コンピ）’63,Hazards of Love’64（EP）,Birds in the Bush’66から各二曲ずつ。音はノイズ少なく、センス良く補正されてるが、声を張り上げるところで少し歪む。盤面でボソッという箇所有り。B面はAnn Briggs’70から五曲、時々guitarとbouzoukiの伴奏がはいる。最後にSing a Song for You’96（録音は’73年、これのみ元のレーベルはFledg’ling）からフルバンドの同名曲一曲。まだ一回しか通しで聞いてないので何とも言えないのだが、Ann Briggsは初期もなにも寡作でオリジナル盤がレアで高価なのでおまけで四つ星。
