"Freedom" is a Japanese anime directed by Shuhei Morita, the creator of the award-winning animation "Kakurenbo". The designer is Katsuhiro Otomo, the creator of "Akira" and "Steamboy". This animation was used for the commercial of "Nissin Cup Noodles" for their 35th anniversary.

The release date is 25th of January, 2008.

Content Description

　月面で拾った写真を手に、タケルとビスが地球にたどり着いて２年半。
　写真の少女・アオに出会い、生きている地球に触れた二人は、かつて断絶した地球と月の交流を取り戻そうとした男たちがいたことを知る。
　ＥＤＥＮに隠された真実を伝えるため、そして親友との約束を果たすため、月の少年たちは新たな冒険に旅立つ

内容は素晴らしいの一言。ただし位置付けとしては5作目なのではないでしょうか。4と5を併せた内容が4作目であれば6話で完結したと思います。
