２ベースの変則ピアノトリオ。hillらしい１枚で、“新主流派のmonk”という感覚が強く出ている。richard davisは重くのたうつヘヴィなトーン。eddie kahnはその後方辺りでブンブンうなっている。少しcecil taylor風の音もあり。ここでもdavisのアルコ・プレイは必聴！
