デビュー作This is the lifeで瞬く間にスターダムを駆け上がったエイミ・ーマクドナルドのセカンド・アルバム。 前作も素晴らしい楽曲が詰め込まれた傑作であったが、その才能はまだほんの一部しか見せていなかったのかもしれないと思えるほど、今度も期待に違わぬアルバムをリリースしてくれた。 真っ先にシングルカットされたDon’t Tell Me That It’s OverやSparkは、前作からの踏襲を感じさせつつも、質は相変わらず高く、ファンが待ち望んでいた彼女の姿が感じられたはず。 とはいえ、今作でのメインとなる楽曲は間違いなくLove Loveであろう。 今作群の中でよりテンポを増したイントロから始まり、ドラマチックに展開していく上、タイトルのようなラブソングではなく、愛の概念や存在について歌っているところは哲学的素養も伺わせる。 これだけの実力派かつ日本盤も出していながら、未だに来日公演が実現していない点は残念で仕方がない。
