ALO, or Animal Liberation Orchestra, s a California rock band signed to Jack Johnson's Brushfire Records. They have released three full-length albums for Brushfire. ALO consists of Zach Gill (keys/vocals), Steve Adams (bass/vocals), Dan Lebowitz (guitar/vocals) and Dave Brogan (drums/vocals). ALO's next studio album is set for a May 8th release on Brushfire Records. While their last record was recorded with Jack Johnson in Hawaii, ALO remained closer to home for this disc. The band first entered San Francisco's Mission Bells studio in April 2011. There they were joined by studio owner and longtime collaborator David Simon-Baker for the sessions that eventually yielded Sounds Like This.
