イギリスのニューエイジ・クラシック・ピアノ奏者、Alexis Ffrench（アレクシス・フレンチ）。４歳でピアノを始め、ロンドンのロイヤル・アカデミー・オブ・ミュージックで学ぶ。クラシックの専門教育を受ける一方で、R&Bやルーツ・ミュージックにも影響を受け、彼独自のユニークなサウンドを作りあげてきた。優しく、ドラマティックで、癒しに満ちたピアノのメロディーが特徴的な彼の楽曲は、海外では特にSpotify等の音楽配信で大きな実績を上げている。　ソニーからの第一弾アルバムとなる『Evolution』は、ゲストにＴａｌｌ Hights（ボストンをベースに活動するエレクトロ・フォーク・デュオ）、Lavinia Meijer（韓国出身の国際的ハープ奏者）らを迎え、アレクシス・フレンチのピアノとの絶妙のアンサンブルを奏でる。また今作より本国イギリスのマネージメントは、リトル・ミックス等が所属する「Modest !」となり、音楽のジャンルを超えた、新たな展開にも期待が高まる。
