つい先日、チック・コリアが急逝してしまったが、1972年は、彼の頂点の年だったとおもう。いろんな形でRTF関連の曲が取り上げられたが、アイアート・モレイラの本作もその一環。珍しいのは、チックだけではなく、少し前、マイルスでバンド・メイトだったキース・ジャレットも一部のセッションに加わっていることで、後年再び取り上げられた「ソー・テンダー」の初演？が、ボートラとしてではあるが、聴ける。このような名盤（+3ヴァージョンで）が常時カタログに載っていないというのは、何たることか！
