Product Description

Aaron has been a fan of music his entire life. It started out by dancing with his 10 records that played on his plastic record player when he was a toddler. Aaron bought his first album at the age of five when other kids were buying toys. In the third grade for the what do you want to be when you grow up assignment Aaron saw himself as a rock and roll star. It was a vision Aaron held until 1996 performing in 3 bands Insanity (hard rock) Agen Wicked (Heavy Metal) and Liquid Bread (blues). In 1996 Aaron found the love of his life Paula and helped her in raising her 3 sons Bryan, Jeff, and Nathan so much so that they are now Aaron's 3 sons as well. From 1996 through 2006 Aaron did all the things necessary to raise a healthy family. He attended Colorado State University and received a bachelors degree of music. Upon graduation Aaron moved to Albuquerque with Paula and sons and began teaching music in the public schools. In the spring of 2006 CD Aaron observed his CD Gemini was selling in the United States and abroad in the UK with no promotion, combined with a sense of unexplained unhappiness and encouragement from loving wife who was following her dreams drove Aaron to make the decision to follow his dreams of being a well known musician. Aaron quit his day job and started composing his third self released CD 'Space Travel' with 9 original compositions for solo guitar and 1 composition for piano. Aaron had the CD professionally manufactured and is gaining momentum with the release. It is maintaining a steady position on the Inide-Music.com charts on both the instrumental and the experimental charts. The CD is about to be reviewed by Progression Magazine out of Massachusetts, and it is receiving requests from all over the states, Germany, and the UK for radio play. Aaron plays regularly around the state of New Mexico and is currently planning tours of Arizona, Nevada, California, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico for the spring of 2009. Since Aaron has been performing some notable gigs for him were the Sunport Serenades at the Albuquerque International Sunport, the City of Albuquerque Lunchtime on the Plaza, Duke City Fix Craftacular Spectacular, Grandmas Music, Albuquerque Library lunchtime performance, New Mexico State Fair happy hour stages, The Go Festival in downtown Albuquerque, private parties for the Albuquerque Economic Development Group, A private party for The Turquoise Trail Preservation Society, a Target corporate event in Pueblo, Colorado, and a lunchtime performance on the campus of Colorado State University Pueblo. Aaron also performs for house concerts, weddings, and other unique events. Aaron and his wife Paula also recently fulfilled a dream they had of opening up artist studios and a gallery. You can find information about the studios in my links section. Space Travel started out as an individual piece and turned out to be the catalyst for an entrie album. It began with the title track being composed for an out of print EP Puente. This piece stuck with me and forced me to sit down and do some serious composing with it. I had been a guitar teacher in the Albuquerque Public Schools from 2002 to 2007. I figured out it wasn't my cup of tea when I found myself composing music at staff meetings. I have always know I was a musician. My favorite toy as a toddler was a plastic record player. I bought my first real album with my allowance when I was five. I wanted a guitar when I was seven, during high school it was an afro and a Stratocaster. During my twenties it turned into the blues. And now it is what it is. So I found a church that I could record in for it's acoustics and flare more than it's comfort. It is an old adobe church that belongs to a family I know. Inside the church it would easily reach 100+ degrees with a fan blowing. People would come in and check just to make sure I was alive. I recorded a series of improvisations along with Space Travel which was starting to come tohgether really well at this point. I sat down to master it and before I had even finished the first song the computer crashed and I lo
