After enjoying a breakout major debut with 2002's 'So', Acidman takes its best shot at avoiding sophomore jinx by offering a powerhouse album that marks the second chapter of the rising rock trio. Every 12 track of 'Loop' is well measured and carefully designed to satisfy listeners and show their musical growth at the same time. From the raucous opener 'Type A', to familiar 'Nami Shiroku' and 'Repeat', and to a trio of energetic rock nuggets closing the album, ''Dried Out', 'Ima Tomeika' and 'Turn Around', the band at all times shows its strong points - rousing lyrics and subtle yet intense sound. Consider this one of the big hits of the second half of 2003.
