デトロイト・ハウス界のビッグネームでもあ...

デトロイト・ハウス界のビッグネームでもある、Moodyman、Theo Parrish、Rick Wilhite、そしてMarcellus Pittmanが揃う、まさにドリームチームのようなユニット3 Chairs。本作はそのユニットの最初期にリリースされた12インチなどを主にしてまとめられたCD盤。基本的にはMoodyman、Theo Parrish、Rick Wilhiteの3名のソロ作からなる。デトロイト・ハウスの醍醐味である、音が割れる寸前のぶっといベースラインは腰にも心地よく、アナログレコード感を誇張しているかのように脳内にグイグイと迫って来る音の歪と遠近感はドープそのもの。CDフォーマットでしか現存しないのはもったいない話なので、そろそろヴァイナル盤を出してくれてもいいのに。
