3 Bucksworth is excited to announce the release of their third studio album, Pure, on March 22, 2013. Engineered and produced by Brett Hestla (Virgos Merlot, Dark New Day, Tantric, Framing Hanley, The Last Nova, Blacklite District, Starcity Meltdown), Pure marks a major leap forward for the band, following up the 2010 release of their first full-length CD Indiana. It's soul-driven roots-rock! Imagine the bastard child of Aerosmith and The Eagles and you'll start to get the 3 Bucksworth of 2013. This CD absolutely rocks, but you still get the great melodies with big hooks and harmonies 3BW is known for, says producer Brett Hestla. 3 Bucksworth hails from Central Florida and Pure follows in the footsteps of fellow Central Floridians Rob Thomas and Tom Petty. We really found our footing with this CD, says Chris Hendren, lead singer of 3BW. When we first started recording Indiana we were an acoustic band and were leaning a little toward country, so we were re-arranging songs in the studio to add drums and electric guitars, because the songs needed them. With Pure we knew we were a rock band and we weren't afraid of big guitars and drums. It's a much more focused and confident effort, and we couldn't be happier with it! The band will be launching Pure with a CD Release Party at The Abbey in Orlando, FL on March 22nd, supported by up and coming act the Evan Taylor Jones Band. They will also be playing at Skippers Smokehouse in Tampa in March and at The Orange Blossom Jamboree in May.
