While I'm Still Breathin'

Since the beginning days of HipHop, this genre of music has allowed the voice of many to speak about the experience, the culture and the desire to be part of something bigger. The platform has been used by many to paint pictures of a negative view that has caused some to think that there isn't any good HipHop music worth listening to. Not all HipHop is created to exploit the problems and issues of the world around us. With a strong desire to create music that will lift up the Name of Jesus Christ, 2EDGE focuses on kingdom building. The South Florida native has had his share of issues and struggles but his music points you to a solution and answer. Listening to how 2EDGE utilizes his life experiences to tell the story of how God's grace is sufficient will help you understand the vessel behind the music. He's been a member of the South Florida based group 1Way since 1992. He's also had the opportunity to be a youth leader and still serves as a worship team member at his church. This is the first solo release from 2EDGE entitled While I'm Still Breathin' . This album is birthed from a place of honesty, sincerity and true worship from the heart. For the rest of our days on this earth, we need to give God praise with our mind, body and soul. Christ is Everything and is all that we need. So, while I'm still breathin'... Being affiliated with 1Way and Stagestalker has allowed him to see God effectively use Hip Hop to speak truth into the lives of many people. The 1Way projects include Destination Unknown, Souljourn, Footprints of a Souljourn and most recently Midnight Run. He's made appearances on Urban D's Tranzlation, G-Notes Life, Situations & Stories, Vol. 1 and DJ Morph's Best of Submissions Vol. 2 as well as many other compilations. He was blessed with the opportunity to lend his production abilities to the Rawsrvnt project Gone Fishin on the single Shake Sumthin and on 1Way's Midnight Run with the co produced Venomless Cobra. He's been fortunate to share venues with the likes of The Cross Movement, Urban D, Rhema Soul, DJ Morph, Eddie Nigma, Young Joshua, R. Swift, Grits, Audio Adrenaline, T-Bone, Rawsrvnt, KJ52, DJ Maj, P.O.D., Nicole C. Mullins, Newsboys, Angie & Debbie Winans, Corey Red & Precise, Gospel Gangstaz, Out of Eden, G-Notes, Joe Justiz, Grits and Pigeon John to name a few. Speaking the gospel through music to a world that's in dire need of Jesus Christ is what 2EDGE is all about. The focus is on giving every listener Christ Jesus until the last breath is taken.
