    専門外のことを調べる場合の定説通り本作を購入。今回は「五感」について知りたかったのだけれど、久しぶりの図鑑はやはり楽しくて結局、すべてを熟読してしまった。テキスト至上主義者ではあるものの、このような場合の絵の説得力はたいへん威力があるし、こどもの頃を思い出しても興味を惹きやすい。肝心の「五感」については、触覚→視覚→聴覚→嗅覚→味覚の順に書かれていたことが興味深かった。「触覚」はふだん冷遇されることが多いのに。
