Rose McGowan joins the cast of this cult-hit series in Season 4 as Paige, a long-lost half-sister of Piper and Phoebe. All is not happily ever after in the Halliwell household – Phoebe and Piper don't trust their new sibling at first. Paige herself is shocked to learn of her own witchy family tree and initially uses her powers for selfish ends.

The sisters soon settle their differences in the face of a powerful enemy: the Source of All Evil and the Queen of the Underworld want to use the sisters to increase their power. Paige, Piper and Phoebe face down the Source several times this season.

Phoebe and her demon lover Cole get married, which is never a simple process in the Halliwell family. Phoebe even casts a spell to determine if she's making the right decision, which allows her to talk to a younger and older version of herself. However, the Source strikes out against her fiancé hoping to damage the relationship between the sisters.
