    ライトノベル「BLOOD＋　ロシアンローズ」同様、ＴＶアニメシリーズ「BLOOD＋」の外伝的作品で、本編のロシア編の補完的内容となってます。この作品の後のお話が、本編第17話の「約束おぼえてる？」になってるという感じですね。本編のPS2ゲーム「BLOOD＋ ＆#12316;双翼のバトル輪舞曲(ロンド)＆#12316;」と少し設定的にズレがあるような気がしますが、外伝としては充分楽しめる内容ですね。
