何の気なしに聞いてみたが、確かにサロン風の名曲ばかり。ズンと響く低音など一切ないが、「へぇ、誰の曲だろう」と思わせる佳品集。作品４４、４５あたりは平穏の中に吹く風のようにちょっと心に染み入る。私は作品４４−１のアラベスクが大好きになった。こういうアルバムは世界を広げてくれる。これを機会に世界のピアニストが取り上げてくれることを望みたい。
