    こんにちロボットを抜きにして我々の日々の生活はありえないと言っても過言ではないが、そのロボットというあまりにも有名な名称を創りだした歴史的な戯曲。 科学の発展が逆に世界を破壊していくという警告を発する作品。 しかし最後には新たな希望の光も与えられている。 ２１世紀はロボットの他にクローンも我々の生活を豊かにしてくれるのかもしれないが、便利さの代償に失うであろう恐ろしいものをこの作品は予言しているのではないだろうか？
