    年長の息子に買いました。 「生き物や身近なくらしにまつわるびっくりするような雑学を例文にしました」と紹介されていますが、例文に出てくる雑学は、小学１年生であることを忘れているかのような内容で、本当にどうでもいいような(大人でも知らなくていいような)ものも多く、まさにびっくりさせられます(例えば、「大」の例文は、「東京大学には校歌がない」です。)。ただ、不思議なもので、子どもの食い付きはよいです。雑学好きな子どもであれば、雑学の本を読むついでという感じで、楽しみながら漢字の学習をさせられると思います。
