    子供たちが幼いころ「こどものとも」を定期購読して読み聞かせをしていた(一番印象に残っているのは「とうだいのひまわり」だが残念ながら絶版)。子供たちに人気のあったのが「ばばばあちゃん」シリーズ。中でも「すいかのたね」は私も大いに楽しめた。孫の誕生日の祝いに買ってあげたところ、毎日のように読み聞かせをせがんでくる。孫の笑顔がとても可愛い。

    いろんな動物が木の木陰に入ってくるお話です。娘はこれを真似して「ちょっと入れて」「あぁ、いいよいいよしょうがないからね」と言うようになりました。
