春の祭典、序盤は主張が少なく安全運転かなと思いましたが中盤に向けて盛り上がってきます。インパクトではもっと鳴るものは他にいくらでもありますが、この曲からしっとりした美しさを描出した録音として高く評価したいです。組曲「マヤ族の夜」はなかなか面白い曲だと思います。ぜひお聴きください。

「春の祭典」初演１００年記念ＢＯＸ（２０ＣＤ）が手元に届いた。 一番最初に聴いたのがこのドゥダメル盤。 Ｃ．デイヴィス＆コンセルトヘボウ盤、ドラティ＆デトロイト盤、 などを差し置いてまず聴いてみた。 彼がシモン・ボリヴァルと入れたＣＤはチャイコフスキー５番ですでに 聴いていて、才能は認めていた。 「春の祭典」のような複雑な曲にベネズエラのオケがどう反応するか 楽しみだった。 一言で、素晴らしい！原始的な音響、鋭いリズムとも歴代の名盤と同等か それ以上だ。 大みそかのバラエティ番組で、嵐の松本潤へのメッセージを聴いたが 彼の人柄にも惹かれた。 今後がますます楽しみだ。

これは素晴らしい演奏だ。実演でチャイコフスキーを聴いてうるさい印象しか残っておらずドゥダメルはもういいと思っていたが、やはり曲との相性（聴き手とのも）もあるのだろう。まさに音の饗宴といった感じで切れ味も抜群だ、サロネンの新盤とは全く異なるアプローチだがいづれも目下私には最高のハルサイだ。録音に関するコメントが多いようですが、私のオーディオではよく鳴っていました。
