Z世代の”若い血”を持つロックスター、ヤングブラッドの2ndアルバム。 ジャケットからも分かるように、ファッション、ジェンダーの枠を超えたヤングブラッドは、 根底にパンクの精神を持ちつつ、エモ、ブリットポップ、ヒップホップ、グラムロック...など音楽のジャンルにも一切囚われない。 ヒップホップ寄りだった1stに比べて、今作は歌唱や声質といった魅了がフルに発揮されて心にグサグサ刺さる。 デヴィッド・ボウイやクイーンのオマージュ、オアシスやマイケミへのリスペクトも感じられて、古くからのロックファンにも是非聴いてほしい一枚。 国内盤ボーナストラックには、EP”the underrated youth”が和訳付きで収録されているのでかなりお得。
