1994年にデビュー作の「Meriggio」を発表して以来、Vito Modugnoはイタリアを代表するオルガン･プレイヤーとして内外で人気を博してきた。基本はトリオ編成で活躍する彼だが、「Break Out」以来10年ぶりとなるこの新作では、テナー･サックスを加えたカルテットをベースに、もうひとりのテナー奏者とトランペット･プレイヤーもゲストに加えて迫力満点の演奏を繰り広げる。オルガン･ジャズ特有のソウルフルな響きも認められるが、それ以上にホーン･プレイヤーが入り乱れてのソロ合戦に耳が離せない。聴き所：トラック(1)「East Side Blue」フェンダー・ピアノを駆使した躍動感溢れるプレイがご機嫌に響いています。（jazzyellより)
