チャーリー・ブラウン、スヌーピー関連音楽の生みの親、ガラルディの貴重な未発表演奏集。スヌーピーなどのテーマ曲作者で「ピーナッツ」の音楽担当者だったヴィンス・ガラルディの死後発見された数多くのテープは、夫人からジョージ・ウィンストンに預けられていたが、最近になって息子のもとへ返却された。その中から選ばれた未発表の演奏がこのアルバムに収録されている。

　この未発表音源をプロデュースしているのは息子のDavid Guaraldiとウィンダム・ヒルの諸作品でプロデュースを手がけているDawn Atkinsonの二人です。非常に興味深いですね。 　最初の2曲以外はライヴ録音でヴィンスのトリオとオーケストラが共演しています。チャーリー・ブラウン組曲は番組に使われている曲がちりばめられた仕上がり。スタジオ録音はあの“ライナス・アンド・ルーシー”のバンド・ヴァージョンです。
