魅惑のワルツ(アンリ・ルネ楽団)」は個人的には大いにOkだが、今回出ていないメラクリーノのあの洗練されたストリングスで聴ければ嬉しさ百倍というところだ。売れれば次が期待できるので、モノラール末期からステレオ中期にかけてのこのアンソロジーを、ぜひ若い皆さんにも購入してほしい、と熱望しておく。たまには君、オジサンのウザ〜い一言にも反応して、ほれ勢いで買ってみなって。後悔？音楽の世界にゃそんな言葉無縁。まず聴いてみなよ

第２弾３弾へと望みを繋ぐ佳演の宝庫！遂にユーゴー・ウィンターハルター登場。RCAの主要なアーティストを集めての待望の名演復活、というところだが、ギターメインがタバハラスは当然として、ヘンリーマンシーニを擁しながら「酒とバラ」「シャレード」に敢えてボストンポップスを起用するという人材の宝庫ぶりはさすがだ。その反面グランド・ファンタスティック・ストリングスというおそらく邦人のスタジオオケが「碧空」を演奏しているのは思いっきり懐かしサウンドを期待していた人にとってはちと肩すかし。
