Epic Symphony In A Flat Minor

Truth be told, this is an album that I never expected to actually come to fruition. When I released a track called Epic Symphony in A Flat Minor, First Movement: Marching Out for download on the Rock Band Network for Xbox 360, I never expected any kind of success; maybe a couple sales from curious people and some family and friends, and I'd get a kick out of playing my own music and seeing it go live. Two things happened though - #1, I claimed the title of Longest Song Name in Rock Band History; and #2, somehow, thousands of people have now downloaded my music all over the world. Van Friscia and the Epic Symphony are the result of my writing in my spare time over the course of a couple years. I'm primarily a composer and guitarist, but I also dabble in bass, drums, piano, and vocals. On this record, I played the guitar and bass lines and programmed all of the remaining parts using synthesizers. The result is an emotional explosion of music that, I've been told, is dramatic prog-rock at it's best but could also be the theme to a Final Fantasy video game. So, this release marks another milestone for me - the entire Epic Symphony package, now fully mastered and in non-video game form. It wasn't even finished when the first track came out in Rock Band, and I never expected any demand to do so; I'm incredibly excited to now have the full album available for commercial sale.
