True Life Trio's debut album is a collection of seven songs from the rich traditions of Eastern Europe and the Americas, including songs from Macedonia, Albania, Louisiana, Resia and Mexico, as well as originals and arrangements by members of the trio. TLT's sweet and gutsy vocal harmonies are enhanced on several tracks by the accompaniment of violin, hardingfele, guitar, bass and frame drum, creating deliciously varied musical textures.
