City Lies In Ruins

Formed in 2011 after playing as part of world-famous piano duo Katia & Marielle Labeque's Minimalist Dreamhouse in London, this trio forged an immediate bond. Coming from very different worlds - classical, avant-garde, and rock - their challenge was to engage in songwriting that would be both simple and full of inspiration from their very different backgrounds. The resulting sound exceeds it's parts; bridging the gap between UNKLE, Bohren & Der Club of Gore, and timeless soundtrack compositions, the trio has made an astounding collection of tracks as unique as they are captivating.
