Triosence first appeared on European Jazz scene in 1999, and has since become one of the most successful bands in Germany. Where Time Stands Still brings pianist Bernhard Schler, bassist Matthias Nowak, and drummer Stephan Emig, together with American Jazz vocalist Sara Gazarek for their first U.S. release. The album is a collection of twelve original songs that captures the spirit of the band's melodic song styling and Gazarek's enchanting vocals.

アコースティックな楽曲中心で、サラの声質にとてもマッチしてすごくいいアルバムだと思います。バックの演奏も彼女を引き立たせながら、各楽器のソロのパートではしっかりと自己主張するバランス感覚は見事！彼女の歌い方は、あからさまな感情表現はなく、淡々と曲が進んでいくので人によっては退屈に聞こえてしまうかもしれませんが 「ゆっくりと心に浸み込んでいく」そんなアルバムです。春の休日の午前にipodで、このアルバムを聴きながら散歩しているとなんとも言えない気分に浸れる事間違いなしです。
