抜群の歌唱力、グラマーなルックス、ファニー･フェイスの3拍子で50年代の男性ファンを魅了した歌手・女優がティナ･ロビンです。ニュージャージーに生まれ、エド･サリバン･ショウにも登場したことがあります。残念ながら1996年に亡くなってしまいましたが、今もその死を惜しむ声は収まりません。

身長は4フィート10インチ(約145cm)とアメリカ人にしては大変小柄でしたが、歌のうまさは天下一品。このアルバムでは春、夏、秋、冬をテーマに、スタンダード･ナンバーを快調に聴かせてくれます。なお彼女はアルドン･ミュージックという音楽出版社で専属シンガーを務めていたこともあり、若きキャロル･キングの曲などを歌ったデモ音源も存在するそうです。 (jazzyellより）
