なぜか、2nd、3rdの日本盤リリースがなかったカナダの大物バンドの4枚目のスタジオ･アルバム。前作では9枚がシングル･カットされ、アメリカではプラチナ･ディスクになる大ヒット。それでも日本盤は未発売な現状だったが、4枚目のこのアルバムは日本盤も発売された。音楽性も幅広く前作以上にバラエティ豊か。 おすすめ・・・・・①③④⑥⑦⑧⑨⑪⑫

まず、購入するのであれば迷わず輸入もスペシャルエディションを購入しましょう！ ６曲のボーナストラックが素晴らしい出来栄えですから。 「Better Or Worse」なんて我々日本人が凄く好きなメロディーラインのバラードですよ！！それと、 １曲目の「Lowlife」のイントロはもろBon Joviの「This Is Our House」を思い出しましたが、イントロ部だけですので。 疾走系、ミディアム系、バラード系バランスよく収録されていて、非常に聴きやすい作品となってます。 アルバムのどこを切ってもTheory of a Deadmanです。 ただ、正直、脱Nickelbackをウタッていますが、いやいや、思いっきり近づいている気がしますけど。「Out Of My Head」なんてチャドが唄ったら完全・・。 しかし、このアルバムを聴いて再確認。 素晴らしいバンドです。きっかけさえあればここ日本で大ブレイクするのになぁ。もったいない。
