テンプテーションズの良質な入門盤。80年代の2曲は浮いており、可もなく不可もなしという程度の曲にしか聴こえないのだが、ブックレットの解説によれば、17曲目はR＆Bチャートで、18曲はアーバンチャートで各々大ヒットしたとのことだから、入れざるを得なかったのだろう。その2曲を含めても、音はリマスターされており、初めの1枚として推薦できる。但し、現在はオリジナル・スタジオ・アルバムの国内盤がこのCDよりも安価なため、気になる曲が入っているアルバムを狙い撃ちで購入するというのもありうる。
