2009 debut album by the Alt-Rock band comprised of members from Queens Of The Stone Age and Mark Lanegan's band. Sweethead is Troy Van Leeuwen on guitar (current Queens Of The Stone Age-r and proud alum of A Perfect Circle and Failure), Serrina Sims on vocals (fresh blood), Norm Block on drums (Mark Lanegan Band, Plexi), and Eddie Nappi, on bass (Mark Lanegan Band, Handsome). Produced by Troy, their self-titled debut album is a confident straight-ahead Rock album. With obvious nods to the Glam era, the 12-track album is loaded with serious attitude and sex appeal. QUEENS OF THE STONE AGEのギタリスト､トロイ･ヴァン･リーウェンが､05年の"ENEMY"に次いで結成した"SWEETHEAD"のデビュー作　フロントマンに女性ヴォーカリストのセリナ･シムズを迎えたことで､彼女のヴォーカルを生かしたストレートなロック･ナンバーが多いですが､楽曲によってはオルタナティヴだったり､オーガニックだったり､違った多彩で振幅の広い楽曲は､ENEMYとは違った魅力を感じさせます　取っつきやすい楽曲が多い分､ENEMYと比べると刺激が足りなく感じるかもしれませんが､このアルバムもやはり､トロイの才能を感じさせる一枚です
