Product Description

Limited three disc (two CDs + NTSC/Region 0 DVD) edition of this 1980 album by the British guitar legend. Defector is Steve Hackett's highest charting album in the UK (#9). The album featured the same band as 1979's Spectral Mornings: Pete Hicks (vocals), Dik Cadbury (bass), Nick Magnus (keyboards), John Hackett (flutes) and John Shearer (drums). The deluxe edition includes a new remaster of the album along with a disc containing Steve's set at the Reading Festival in 1980. There is also a DVD which features a pseudo 5.1 Surround Sound Up-mix derived from the original stereo masters.
