70年代初期にギタリスト、エメット・チャップマンによって開発、広められたタッピング専用の弦楽器チャップマンスティックレッスン。世界的奏者Steve Adelson がデモンストレーする。パーカショニストDavid Langloisが数曲に参加している。チャップマンスティックはギターのネック部分だけからなる弦楽器で、キーボードのように平面においてタッピングする。弦は10 本が基本。生音が弱いのでエレキギターのように音を増幅して演奏する。エフェクターを使って音色を変化させることもできる。
