Stephen Combs has been the Director of Worship at Wilson Community Church in Wilson, NC since July, 2005. These songs were inspired by different events of Stephen's life, some of which were written to fit sermon series' that Pastor Gary Combs did in recent years. Stephen has always been inspired by the timeless depth of hymns, and it is his desire to bring Bible-based depth back to Praise & Worship music. StedFast (formerly PureHeart) was renamed and reformed upon Stephen's arrival at Wilson Community Church, and it's members have changed along the way, shaping it into the excellent band heard on this album. StedFast is the worship band every Sunday morning for Wilson Community Church, and this album was created to serve God and that ministry. The love for music and the worship of God stands as the foundation of what StedFast does, and they're prayer is that you would be blessed by this great work that God has done through them.
