Hard Working Classes

2011 debut album from the Polish Indie outfit. Hard Working Classes is hypnotizing and atmospheric with multi-layered soundscapes, haunting melodies and the phenomenal voice of Iza Komoszynskiej. Iza not only sings, but also is the writer of all lyrics, and co-writer of all music. Their music was critically acclaimed by legendary Polish radio presenter Piotr Kaczkowski (the Polish equivalent of John Peel) in 2008, the band were selected by the British organizer as the Polish representative for the popular international bands competition - GBOB 2008, the band won the Best New Polish Band award in 2009, Sorry Boys were awarded the Next Big Thing at the PAM London Awards. Sorry Boys combine the chill of the Editors, the catchiness of Glasvegas, and the melodic style of the Cocteau Twins.
