ディスク1には1967年に録音されたスタジオ・セッションからロバート・ワイアット、ケヴィン・エアーズ、マイク・ラトリッジ、デヴィッド・アレンのオリジナル・ラインナップによる音源4曲、デヴィッド・アレン脱退後の3人による音源12曲を収録。
ディスク2はロバート・ワイアット、ケヴィン・エアーズ、マイク・ラトリッジのラインナップでのアムステルダムでのライヴ(5曲)、ロンドンでのライヴ(1曲)、アイオワでのライヴ(8曲)を収録。今回の再発に際してリマスターを施しましたがそれでも決して良いとは言えない音質ですが、それを補って余りある歴史的音楽的価値のある内容となっています。テープを録音したブライアン・ホッパーによる詳細なライナーノーツの対訳付。
