前作「Iowa」は間違いなくメタルシーンにおいての金字塔的な輝きを放つ傑作だった。1st、2nd、と比較すると好意的なレヴューが多いにせよ、本作と次作は「おとなしくなった」と目にするが個人的な意見を言わせてもらうと俺はそうは思わない！！なにおもって「SLIPKNOT」と定義付けするのは個人の自由だが俺はアルバムごとに新たな魅了を発見するし彼等は確実に「進化」している。それは彼等のライヴを体験して確信が持てた！このアルバムの収録曲はライヴに映える曲が多く聞き所、満載の名盤だ！！スピードとパワーでゴリ押しのサウンドが彼等の最大の魅力だが、是非違う観点からも見て欲しいな！ネットの動画サイトも普及しているので本作収録の曲のライヴを見ればきっと新たな魅力を発見できるはず。

前作IOWAをリリース以降、ボーカルのｺﾘｨ･ﾃｲﾗｰが酒とタバコをやめたため、声が良くなったと話していたそうです。確かに聴いてみると声がきれいになっていると思います。 サウンドも前作とは違うものになっていて、聞き応えのある作品だと思います。いい曲がたくさん入っているのできっと満足できると思います。

メタリカでいうとロード、リロード的な？かんじかな（全然違うか）（怒んないでー） ちなみにロードリロード好きです この夏Ｔシャツ買っちゃいました。今はゆらゆら帝国のＴシャツの次にきにいっつます。
