Formed in Nyon 2007, Sidetrack have quickly evolved from an acoustic double-act to an established folk-rock band of four. Radio hits from their debut album llama with a window, such as Goldrush and Can you sing, together with many live performances around Switzerland, have brought a lot of attention to this band and established a strong following from those with a passion for folk and rock. Lead singer Gillian Webster, bringing a combination of soulful harmonies and hard hitting lyrics, is backed by an international group of musicians, who play with a range of acoustic and electric sounds to deliver a truly unique experience. Matt Welling, featured in local Swiss newspapers for his performances on the double bass, electric bass and even lead guitar, is an example of how the band mix up their roles and find ways of blending various styles and genres. Adam Selby and Mike Romig make up the rest of the current band on tour, with other Sidetrack members Andrew Pal, Adam Hughes and Duncan Hails currently out of the country leading different projects.
