Rising just after the split of the doom demented THEE PLAGUE OF GENTLEMEN, Steven 'LQW' Van Cauwenbergh et Frederik 'Cozy' Cosemans (LENG TCH'E) create SerpentCult in 2006 (SerpentCult is the name planned for the unreleased second album of THEE PLAGUE OF GENTLEMEN) with Frederic Caure (PANTHEIST). The line up is completed with the coming of Michelle Nocon, as the vocalist. The first EP Trident Nor Fire is released in 2007 which get a very good response for the audience and press, which allows the band to immediately make a step forward with the recording of the album Weight of Light in 2008. Now in 2011, SerpentCult is proud to present it's brand new release. This is strong and catchy as TYPE O NEGATIVE meeting SAINT VITUS, this is spellbinding as CATHEDRAL inviting KING CRIMSON, this is overwhelming and crushing...
