Product Description

Formed in the Fall of '96, U.K.'s the Seahorses are comprised of Stone Roses' lead guitarist John Squire and 3 veterans of the York music scene. in late '96, the band played a series of well-received gigs in England, Scotland and Wales. They made their stateside debut in L.A. early this year and plan to tour extensively. The Seahorses' debut album was produced by Tony Visconti (David Bowie, T-Rex) and features the first multi-format single/video, Love Is the Law.

作品としてはローゼズの内容は1st＋2ndで最後に2で割った感じ。 しかし、今までの軌跡を踏まえて感情移入して聴くと、グッとくるものがある。優しいメロディーの裏には背負ってきた運命が見え隠れしている。

期待が大きかった分、出た当初気に入らなく...

期待が大きかった分、出た当初気に入らなくて、すぐに中古屋に売り飛ばしちゃったんだけど、最近なぜか買い直しちゃいました。聴き所は・・・やっぱりジョンのギターですね！M5は言うまでもないけど、M1,M2みたいな地味目の曲でもさりげなく超絶テクを披露してます、良く聴き込んでみて下さい。さりげないってとこが、いかにもジョンらしいけどね。
