SOUL'd OUTの4年半ぶりとなる5枚目のオリジナルアルバム完成！その名も「so_mania」!!! 2008年1月に発売となった「ATTITUDE」を発売した後、それぞれのソロワークに入っていたS.O。2010年横浜アリーナで行われた「BEAT CONNECTION」で復活後、2011年4月にシングル「and 7」、2012年2月に配信限定曲「UnIsong」、4月にシングル「SUPERFEEL」を発売し、8月1日にはTVアニメ「超訳百人一首 うた恋い。」のエンディングテーマとなる「Singin' My Lu」を発売し、勢いに乗ってのリリースとなる。 2013年1月にはデビュー10周年を迎える彼らの渾身の1枚。
