Hidden Door

Six years have passed since Route90 was formed in2006. Route90 developed a following bass ed on it's dramatic live performances, steadily pursuing--and positively nailing--the sound as a Power Bluez Unit. There was much deliberation as to how the album should be recorded, but in the end it was agreed the finished product should be an album that eliminates the excessive ornamentaion of 'studio sound.' and faithfully preserves the power of the live performance. All recording was done at Sound Shot Kotesashi, Saitama, Japan, and Route90 owes a huge debt of gratitude to Mr. Hida, the company's President, who was also on-hand throughout the process as producer and engineer. Mr. Hida and Sound Shot brought a lot of soul and expertise to the project, and managed to capture the sound Route90 was lokking for: pure power blues, raw, stripped of all frills and superfluous sound, ready to ignite the world music scene.
